Hi, I’m Jen.

I’m an Art Director in digital design, originally from Chicago and currently based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Over the years, I’ve worked to create engaging and impactful digital solutions for clients and their customers in industries such as financial, healthcare, consumer goods, and retail. In the past several years through my work with Apple at Critical Mass, my greatest interest has come to be in the nuts and bolts of Design Systems. I’m at my best when I can support my team and help to make their work smoother, and in doing so, contribute to creating experiences that delight our client’s customers and make their lives a little easier.

If you’d like to learn more about my past work history, I encourage you to visit my LinkedIn page or download my résumé.

For two and a half years, from 2017–2019, I had served as the Host of CreativeMornings/Chicago, a monthly breakfast lecture series that began in NYC in 2008 and is now in over 200 cities all over the globe and is constantly growing. CreativeMornings gives folks space on one Friday morning each month to connect and engage with other creatives and be inspired by a curated group of speakers.

I’ve been an avid knitter since 2010 and kicked off 2019 by founding my own knitted goods and pattern design shop, Morel Fiber Arts.

Past speaking engagements include United Adworkers’ Women in Leadership panel in 2018, AIGA Chicago’s Design Pride: Insights and Experiences panel in 2017, and NIU's Seek Design Conference in 2014. In 2016, I was honored to be featured as Print's Designer of the Week.
